Yvette White, PhD

Community Clinical Liason

Yvette is a Community Clinical Liaison Inside Edge, a role that leverages her specialties in clinical research, disease management, and cultural competency training. With a Ph.D. in Human Services and a Master’s in Public Health, Yvette is also Yellow Belt certified in Lean Six Sigma. She completed the Morehouse School of Medicine’s Biotechnology Cannabis Research Therapeutic program, further broadening her expertise.

Yvette’s passion for working in underserved communities has been fostered through her with diverse career roles. She has been a clinical research coordinator on observational cancer studies and contributed to federal grant review initiatives. Yvette also supported public health initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic and the Mpox outbreak in Atlanta, GA, through her work with the CDC Foundation as a case investigator gathering real-world evidence data for analysis.

A dedicated advocate for healthcare equity, Dr. White is committed to advancing accessibility through diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. She conducts specialized training in DEI, cultural competency, and how the social determinants of health impact communities. She stays focused on closing healthcare gaps and promoting equity in the communities she serves.

Outside her professional work, Yvette is passionate about wildlife, travel, entrepreneurship, and mentoring adolescent girls.

Make well known means connecting healthcare where you live, work, and age, and reducing disparity through meaningful partnerships.
